QSI Methodology
Quality Software Implementation Ltd is a customer focused software consultancy based in Edinburgh with over twenty years experience in the provision of traditional IT services. The QSI team are expert in the development, implementation and support of cost-effective, high performance technology solutions designed to meet rigorous business requirements. The skills and experience have been redirected towards the development and support of web sites for small businesses. Principles applied to the development of large-scale IT projects have been carried forward to the process of designing and implementing web sites.
The QSI objective is to ensure that the web site provided fully matches your requirements. At all stages of the development process close consultation will take place. Depending upon your business location this can be done either by meeting at your premises or by exchanging information by mail, e-mail or telephone. These initial discussions will determine the appearance, structure and content of the web site. Ideally the textual and digital image content of the web site should be agreed at this stage. These would normally be provided by you based upon your current company literature. Help and guidance will be given in respect of recommended web site content. If you have not already purchased a domain name, we should do so at this stage.
Once we have agreed a basic structure, a draft web site will be created and made available for you to view on the Internet. At this point your domain name e-mail addresses can be set up and tested. Revisions will be made until you are fully satisfied with the web site content and format. At that point the web site will be published and your domain name submitted to all leading search engines.
Once the site is up and running QSI will monitor the internet activity and will apply appropriate tuning to ensure that your site is being found by search engines at the required level. Any further modifications that you feel should be made to the web site can be applied at this stage.
